AUCKLAND WELCOME CAMPS

This exciting Auckland Welcome Camp is designed for international high school exchange students arriving into New Zealand before they start their exchange programme. By attending this Welcome Camp, students discover and learn many great things about New Zealand which will help prepare them for their high school exchange programme. This 3-day Camp is filled with fun activities and trips to ensure students get the best start and preparation for their adventure in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

 

The activities at the camp include a variety of options (depending on the time of year and availability) including the opportunity to have a surfing lesson (at an additional cost during the summer camp), rugby experience, introduction to New Zealand history as well as Maori and Pacifica cultures, and a visit to a farm to learn about rural life in New Zealand.

 

Students will also receive a personal and in-depth orientation from the Your Education team to prepare them for life in New Zealand and all aspects of having a successful exchange in experience. The benefits of this presentation is that the Your Education team can work closely with each and every student to ensure that they are receiving a personal experience of preparation before they start their adventure.
