Maddi's Tokyo Experience
"The Your Education staff was so helpful upon arrival and the days leading up to the trip by making sure we were all sorted with what we needed and had a meeting spot at the airport. The other students that I met were all so nice and I was looking forward to spending the next two weeks with them.
Once we arrived in Tokyo I definitely had a culture shock at how cold the weather was but adapted quickly. The staff that ran the camp were so helpful and had sorted such a fun schedule to make the most of our time. We stayed right in the centre of Tokyo and the views were amazing even from my room.
Over the two-weeks we were there we experienced; japanese lessons, cooking classes, huge malls for shopping, ChinaTown, went for a school visit, and ended at Disney Sea! The days were packed with new places to see and experiences. The highlight of my trip was going to the Shrines and learning about the culture.
It was an experience of a lifetime and I would do it again if I could!"

Zena's Tokyo Experience
During my time in Tokyo we had an action packed schedule organised by the amazing staff who made sure we got the best out of each new activity. I was able to experience so many new things, including Japanese lessons and cooking classes, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, a high school visit, wearing Kimono in Asakusa, Yomiuri Land, Shibuya Crossing and so much more.
However, the two main highlights of my trip were exploring Asakusa, where we interviewed locals and visited its famous temple, and experiencing all the crazy rides at Yomiuri Land with my friends.
Being able to make so many friends in such a short time felt like such a privilege and made the experience all the more memorable. They taught me new things about myself and really helped my growth as a person.
Coming out of this trip I felt like an entirely new version of
myself and it was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am so grateful to Your Education for making it happen and would definitely recommend the Winter Camp to anyone who would
listen!
