SCHOOLS

High schools in Japan offer exchange students a structured, community-focused experience with a strong emphasis on discipline, respect, and group harmony. Students wear uniforms, participate in daily cleaning, and often join after-school clubs that play a big role in social life. While academics can be demanding, the real highlight is full cultural immersion—building close bonds with classmates and experiencing everyday Japanese school life from the inside.
