SCHOLARSHIPS
Your Education wants to help as many students as possible achieve their dream of an overseas exchange. We have partial scholarships available up to the value of $2,000 for all departures and durations. The two scholarship categories are:
Social Media Ambassador
These scholarships are available for students who are motivated to share their exchange experience with future Your Education students through various social media avenues. We are looking for students who already use social media extensively and are keen to help us inspire other students to take on the adventure of an overseas exchange.
The winner will be given criteria on what will be required throughout their exchange and will have a presence on our social media channels.
HOW TO APPLY*
Create a short video (maximum 2 minutes) convincing us of why you will make an outstanding exchange student. Make sure you capture your passion for your chosen destination. This is your chance to get creative. You can include visuals, references, anything you feel will make you stand out from the crowd!
Email a link to your video, along with your social media handles to enquiries@youreducation.co.nz by the relevant deadline to be considered.
Industrious Achievement Scholarship
These scholarships are designed to recognise and reward students who have demonstrated initiative, industriousness and fundraising efforts to make their exchange experience possible. We want to hear about students who have worked multiple part time jobs, juggled fundraising initiatives and other avenues to contribute financially to their exchange. These students possess determination, resourcefulness and self-motivation and will have demonstrated a ‘nothing is impossible’ attitude in making their exchange a reality.
The winner will be given criteria on what will be required throughout their exchange and will have a presence on our social media channels.
HOW TO APPLY*
Write a short essay (approx. 1000 words) answering the following questions:

What has attracted you to want to do an exchange?

What activities have you done to make your exchange a reality? Ie. Part time jobs, fund raising initiatives, community events, language courses

How have your efforts demonstrated the values of industriousness,
determination and self-motivation?
You can also include anything else that you feel will make you stand out and will highlight those qualities. Eg references, short video clips, photos etc.
